Vision of VOPOFA

To break the negative spiral of poverty, violence and injustice in Afghanistan its only possible by investing in Afghan people in regard to self-sufficiency, generating livelihood, education and care. All of Afghanistan is our scope but our focus is on the most vulnerable people of the Afghan society: widows, orphans and war victims.

Mission of VOPOF

The approach of Village of Peace is sustainable for the long run as resting the responsibility for change with the Afghans themselves would build a network of communities and centers across the country in which cooperation and peace is practiced. We train and develop local communities to be able to tackle their own problems, and support in developing a mindset of responsibility and generosity, thereby creating self-reliance.

Goals of VOPOFA

Create self-supporting and self-multiplying institutions across all Afghanistan in which people can locally be involved in helping marginalized groups become more self-reliant and learn to live in peace.
